I started learning Mandarin from a young age but took quite a long break, so although I am not a beginner, I have forgotten some basic vocabulary and lacked confidence. However, since starting with Cristina my confidence has increased significantly and I am not afraid to make mistakes as there is no judgment. She is also able to explain sentence structures or vocabulary in flawless English. I used to dread going to Mandarin class back in secondary school, but I am always excited to have a lesson with Cristina. Couldn’t recommend a better or more fun teacher!!

Cristina is a great teacher. Her materials are clear, helpful and she is well organised. I was a language teacher in the past and she puts me to shame! Very glad she’s my teacher…oh and super patient too.

Taking class with Cristina brings bit of sunshine every day. She’s always in a good mood, patient, talks slowly and is very articulate. She is curious about any subject and we can speak about a large variety of topics. She’s simply great. :)

Cristina is a wonderful teacher, full of suitable resources, and most especially very supportive when I get discouraged and super patient, which is a required quality with my bad Mandarin pronunciation.

Jia jia makes learning fun. Even though my Chinese skill is not that high yet, she makes it easy and comfortable for me to speak in Chinese. Most of all, I absolutely love that she teaches me the vocabulary that is actually used in daily conversation, as well as expressions that make my Chinese sound more natural. Jia jia is patient and a joy to talk to.

Jia jia is an amazing teacher! Her lessons are well prepared yet flexible, allowing us to wander off into topics like Chinese food, travel and regional cultures. Her relaxed teaching style and (endless) patience creates a fun learning experience, especially for beginners. Jiajia is able to observer my progress, identify areas needing improvement and embed iterative touchbacks until I have learned each lesson.
